Our motivation

The steadily increasing extinction rate of animal and plant species, the increasing impoverishment of people on this globe as well as the shortage of our resources are being dramatically intensified by the effects of global climate change. In addition, environmental problems increasingly threaten our prosperity, our security , and peace.
Globalisation clearly illustrates that environmental issues are internationally and closely linked with each other and that environmental problems do not stop at borders. More than ever, ecological and economic measures to safeguard the future have to be considered in an international context.
No one – neither individuals alone nor groups of individuals – will be able to solve on their own these challenges that societies face.
More than ever, we need an undogmatic dialogue about the environment. More than ever, we need an unbiased and tolerant cooperation of all the different parts of society.
Our guidelines concerning the preservation of nature and care of the environment are, to do this in cooperation with, and not against the people involved and we want to focus our activities with our partners rather on common interests than on emphasizing differences of opinions.
